5 Make enough brush dabs and strokes in your working image muck up to help define where the main structures of your composition are. You will see that you bring in color from your source image. Don't bring back too much detail. These marks are for reference. You may notice how dull the clone colors are that you bring into your image compared with the non-clone colors you've added and built up.
